I was having trouble keeping track of the days until MLB starts up this year, so I created this page: http://bit.ly/gC3dPX. It was originally written in Javascript by someone at http://pitchersandcatchersreport.com/ but the owner/creator hasn’t updated it for 2011. I originally just copied that code and put it on my own page, but I decided to do it with PHP instead of all the JavaScript the original page was written with. It’s much cleaner this way.

So at the time of this post, pitchers and catchers report in 38 days! I can hardly wait for baseball to return. I’ll definitely make it to Great American Ballpark this year!

This is a test to see how this works with posting things from my iPhone. Here’s a pic of the vehicle I want to buy as soon as I’m back on stable ground.

I did the programming and setup for my church’s website (Bedford Acres Christian Church) and had to do some WordPress plugin development. I was amazed at how awesome the WordPress platform is, and how nice the API is for creating and deploying plugins.

I was able to use existing plugins, as well as my own homemade plugins, to make WordPress function as a CMS.  That being said, I will make this site use WordPress as well.

This is the first post, and it’ll probably be deleted later, but it’s here for now.
